![]() ![]() The band over your head must be forward of your ears, not straight vertical or the headset feels unstable and the mic/cord is in an awkward position. The headset must be properly fitted and supported. It is pretty fast to do, but no it isn’t putting a regular headset on your head which is quicker. You have to extend the headband, turn the ear pads, turn the mic and then insert the ear buds and give them a 45 degree counterclockwise twist. Setup: it’s a bit fiddly and feels like you could break it pretty easily. well the Proflight is pretty good at several things but makes some things harder/not as good so my jury is out. never used in ear anything other than 1 or 2 trips with a Plantronic and the ear mold which I hated. I’m coming from the A20, Telex 850, and DC 13.4 ENC in a prior life. Well I finally flew with them today in a 737-800, 6.5 block, 4 hr first leg.
